Was passed Willford Garage's details by RescueMyCar when I had an electrical fault. It wasn't a breakdown, but a fault that prevented my rear screen wiper and wash from working - inconvenient at best, and hazardous at worst when driving on the motorway with high levels of muddy spray. Although Steve, and the garage, aren't contracted with RescueMyCar (and without implying any criticism of RescueMyCar, who I have good experience of using) he was courteous and helpful, giving advice that made sense and confirmed the thoughts I had about the cause of the problem. An effect of the problem was a bulb in the rear-luggage-compartment that was always-on, and so was overheating. Following his advice, given clearly and accurately, I popped out the bulb (being careful not to burn my fingers). The likely cause is a faulty switch in the tailgate, which although suspected, Steve independently saw as the cause of the rear washer and wiper not working. I'm now out of Somerset, and will hopefully be able to get a local garage to check the car tomorrow morning, a Monday morning. Thanks Steve, especially as I called on a Sunday lunchtime. If I need help in future, and I'm in the Taunton (UK) area, I'll drop by at Willford Garage. Thanks again Steve.

Fantastic service from Steve at Willford Garage. Our car was making a horrendous grinding noise when braking on the way back from a holiday in Devon late afternoon on a Friday. Quick bit of Googling, came across Steve’s garage and called. He was extremely helpful even though he had finished for the night. We had the car towed to his garage and left there, he was working on it early Saturday and even then drove our car back to us at our emergency hotel in Bridgwater. We really, really appreciated it, particularly as we had our one year old with us and a car full of camping gear. He’d discovered a piece of metal wedged into the brake pad, which had wrecked the disc. Professional, friendly, efficient service and value for money/fair price to replace. I would highly recommend Steve!
