Our premises at Technoquip are well-equipped with the latest tools and diagnostic equipment. We have 3 ramps and 2 MOT bays within our extensive workshop area. We can comfortably accommodate several vehicles at any one time, meaning we can often fit in customers at short notice if needed.

Even if the issue can’t be identified by scanning your engine’s ECU, our technicians have a wealth of experience diagnosing problems with virtually any make and model of car; classic, specialist or modified.

With our technical knowledge and expertise, we can diagnose problems rapidly, even in vehicles that don’t have modern electronic engine management systems. We’ll then speak with you to discuss any repair options, prior to undertaking any work. On 17/05/22, they were asked to check a leak on my air conditioning system. During the first assessment, despite I already informed their team it was a leak, they insisted on refilling again and charging us with £60 as that was the procedure to find out whether it was a leak and where. I did not judge their job as professionals at this stage although I felt this as a waste of time. Effectively, the following day we contacted them as the gas was gone. During the second assessment, therefore, second visit to the garage, - with all the cost that implies by us swapping shifts at work and using the taxi service to be able to make it to work on time - the staff in the garage found out it was a problem with the condenser in my car. They called me back and quoted the job in £310, amount that we happily paid. However, literally, the day after when the car was put on the road, the air conditioning was not working again, so we had to rearrange another visit to investigate the problems with further details. They now quoted the repair on £1313, as the problem seem to be now in the compressor, not the condenser. Due to the age of the car, we agreed that we would not pay that amount. Unfortunately, the garage did not take any responsibility about the previous amount of £310 that did not fix the car or make a difference on its use. Furthermore, after trying to arrange an agreement on a couple of occasions, we eventually asked for a formal complaint form and we were told that it was no form as such, which goes against the Provision of Services Regulation 2009. They attempted to offer us a MOT service, however a) I do not think that is a refund enough comparable to £310 expenses, b) they did not engage on any other way of refund. If anything, I feel that as an insult as it looks like if we are trained to be fooled with peanuts. On top of that, with such an ungrateful experience, I had also forgotten that the receptionist was rude and very unprofessionals as not only she was watching pictures on her phone with the staff team on the back of the reception while I was waiting in a rush to get back to work, during my second or third appointment, that she also struggled to give me my key, up to the point that she gave me the wrong one and had to describe my keyring for her so she could find the right one. The whole experience was outrageous. Whether if it was because we were new to them or because we were foreigners and did felt they could treat us like that, I would not recommend this garage to anyone that appreciates decent customer service. We are on the process of taking all the steps with the Citizen Bureau and the Trading Association to make sure fair business is held in any services provided from their part.

Excellent service.. Have done major service of my Ford S-Max (7 seater).. service were precise and done a good job👍 overall positive experience.. But would be so excellent if they would cleaned up inside car/car mats etc...
