Sam recently provided me with some new body panels for my E36. He was very honest, and knowledgable - at a brilliant price. I would definitely take my car back here in the future if I needed any parts, or repairs doing!

An absolute gem of a mechanic. I’ve been using Sam for about 5 years now, and he’s done all manner of tasks to all manner of vehicles! I travel 2hr15 to get to Sam, because he really is that good, and his attention to detail & lateral thinking is second to none. The distance alone should be a testament to this. Whether it’s a simple oil & filter change, or building me a full blown E36 track car from a rolling shell, no job is too much for him. It’s always a running joke that a mechanic will suck air through their teeth whenever they’re presented with a difficult job, but Sam is the binary opposite. If you present him with a difficult job, it’s greeted with curiosity and excitement instead, as he has a serious passion for keeping vehicles going - I also think he feels slightly smug when he rectifies problems that other garages have said are impossible to fix! 10/10 - you will not regret him looking after your car.

Super friendly guy, never too busy to give advice and help out. Super good value for the level of workmanship Sam carry’s out. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Sam is an hour + journey from me but you just can’t get his knowledge anywhere else. Easy to negotiate prices after two beers as he’s a lightweight.

Sam has been my trusted mechanic for a number of years now, and I traverse the country from Hertfordshire to use his services. He is honest, reliable, hard working and a great communicator. Skills alien to most mechanics I have encountered to date. He has an extensive knowledge of most cars aged 10 years or older, and has worked on approximately 15 of mine over the years.

It’s difficult to know where to begin with Sam, so perhaps the fact that I take pleasure in bringing my cars up to him from Dorset, is as notable a point as any. Sam’s knowledge extends way beyond his years. Whether it be as simple as an oil change or as complex as a modified engine build, he will deliver with a warmth, an enthusiasm and a comprehensiveness that you will be hard pushed to find elsewhere. This man’s abilities know no bounds, and it is no surprise whatsoever that more and more enthusiast owners of rare/sought after/modern classics are putting in the time and the distance geographically, to entrust Sam with their maintenance. But, as already alluded to, it doesn’t stop here. Sam’s vision, guidance and know how with all manners of modifications and high-performance builds is nothing short of elite. Present the man with an idea, and he will make it better. We are in the process of transforming a car of mine currently - and the countless hours of honest, enthusiastic dialogue that have taken place throughout could not leave me feeling any more confident in my commitment to both the car and to him. Sam is constantly coming to you with innovative, cost effective ideas and opportunities to elevate the project that no other service I’ve experienced could, or would offer. This venture is only going to go from strength to strength. Give the man a call.
