I made contact with this garage following a recommendation on Facebook for a quick MOT following a failure at Halfords, and I couldn't get it back in there quick enough. The replies were quick, they allowed me to take it later at night and use the key safe. Which was great, the MOT was done quickly. And friendly service. I was slightly surprised that it FAILED again considering I'd done LOADS of work which Halfords said needed doing to ensure it passed. To my amazement it failed on a tear in the tyre, this tear wasn't there 2 weeks prior, considering it was only drove from Halfords, to the mechanic at a home, then to this garage in that time. This wasn't even on the previous MOT. Further to this, failed on number plate lights, again wasn't an issue in my Halfords MOT. Failed further due to headlights needing polishing out. Now, I don't mind but been charged £30 for someone to go out with a polish and cloth? Literally the headlights do not seem any brighter and there is still muck on them, so I am honestly unsure what I've paid for. I was assuming as there was some white stuff on them that's what they'd be polishing and sorting. But no. I'd consider using again, but it's just annoying another £130 was required on top of £500 already spent, for completely unrelated previous issues. If I knew about the "result" of the polishing I'd have done that myself £30 is just excessive. Think these MOTs need consistency on what is picked up/failed on.

I would recommend this garage 100% I've used these guys for nearly twenty years and they have never let me down. They always do a fine job and always let you the price before starting the job which I really appreciate. My husband passed away recently and I know that the the young lad that owns it with his dad will always look after me. A woman who is on their own needs a kind reliable person and they certainly are men in a million. Thankyou x

Fantastic service. Took my car in for an air con issue that has been happening for a few years. Other garages stated that I needed a new air con pump. Bought it down to Newcross Motor Company who found the issue was a leak. Saved me £1000s in repairs. Would recommend. Top Service!!!
