Hi, my name is Charlie Morgan and Mottec Automotive Solutions is Me!
With over 40+ years of experience in the motor trade, nearly 20 years of that in advanced diagnostics, I provide a totally unique service to the motor trade and motorists at large.
My experience covers Cars, Motorsport, Vans, Trucks & Buses, Campers & Motorhomes, Caravans & Motorcycles, and Heavy Plant & Agricultural.
Add to that my passion for keeping up to date and for providing THE most well equipped mobile diagnostic unit in Gloucestershire and you have Mottec Automotive in a nutshell.
Once the fault has been diagnosed, I will advise on repair options and give you an estimate of the likely repair costs. If you agree, the parts will be ordered (a deposit may be required for special orders) and the repair work will be scheduled for a time and place that is best for you!
Bound to the IMI code of conduct, I aim to provide ethical, honest, professional and affordable advice and service to all my customers.
I also specialise in ECU-Remapping and Chip Tuning for all types of makes and models. I can chip tune your engine so that you receive more power from your engine, or if you prefer I can chip tune to help save you money.

Robert Williams5 StarGreat experience of using Charlie at Mottec Automotive earlier this year to identify and fix an intermittent misfire problem on a Fiat Panda. Charlie is a dying breed of people who are actually interested in and know how to fix things, instead of just buying new or changing parts in order without knowing where the problem is most likely to be. He fixed a problem that none of the garages or main dealers could, with each of these continuing to suggest replacing parts until the problem was found (an expensive process not really worth it on a car worth less than a grand). He charged fairly, explained the costs. did the work when he said he would, and mostly importantly fixed the problem!Wednesday 1st January 2020

He has the equipment and above all the experience and knowledge to sort things out.I am an old school mechanic so modern electrics not my thing but Charles did an excellent job at a good rate.
