Josh and the team were excellent from responding to my initial query to coming out to quote. The work was completed exactly as discussed and it all looks really neat and done to a high standard. They were polite and courteous throughout. Cleaning up afterwards and explaining at all steps what was being done. Would not hesitate to recommend.

The job was to create a safe heat zone for a new hob. British Gas told me the one I had was dangerous. Since the old one had been installed the regulations had changed-John Lewis told me this when I discussed getting a new hob with them. They also told me moving the plug sockets that were within the unsafe area was a relatively simple job for an electrician. So Josh Holland gave me a quote and turned up on time to do the work. He had his own shoe covers and cleared up after himself. Next John Lewis appeared to install my new hob. The installer refused to install the hob, saying if he did and there was an accident he could go to prison. I was very, very upset. I got a full refund from John Lewis. I emailed josh Holland who replied saying what he had done was ok and that he had looked up what to do. He even sent what he had read in an attachment. I went to the CAB who told me how to structure a letter that asked for a refund for the part of the job creating a safe heat zone. Josh Holland had done a couple of other things that were fine. 50% of what I paid was refunded-Josh said in his reply to the letter that he still maintained his work was ok. I have since got rid of the dangerous hob, put a large tile from wicks over the area, table corner covers over the corners that stick out to protect myself and my grandson and purchased a portable one ring induction hob as I can’t stand the thought of anyone else coming round here to do more work. I have been trying to find out how far the portable hob needs to be from the wall to be safe. Plus I don’t know who is right and who is wrong.

Josh and Connor did a full electrical survey of our new house. They were really obliging in finding a time to suit us and were professional, efficient and extremely friendly. They also left the house very tidy. I would really recommend them and I would definitely use them again.
