We booked a repair in late December when our usual engineer was not available. We are a large household including a disabled adult and a working washing machine is an essential appliance. The day before the engineer appointment I got a message telling me that they could not provide a professional unless we paid an additional £100 for someone approved by the manufacturer. I immediately expressed my requirement to cancel their services and made other arrangements, however, ten days later I am still getting frequent customer service messages and requests for dialogue from them and their insurance broker, making a difficult situation worse. I am now investigating legal advice.
