Beacon Electrical was Founded in 1976, and is still a Local Family Run Business. Originally established as an Electrical Wholesaler, Beacon has evolved in to a premier Retailer selling all aspects of Electrical and Gas products from light bulbs right through to Washing Machines and Televisions.

Chris Salvary5 StarBig shout out to Beacon Electrical in Totnes. Our dishwasher died so we visited the shop on 3rd December to order a replacement. Ben was really helpful and gave lots of advice to help us choose the right one but was very apologetic that he couldn’t guarantee delivery before Christmas - no surprise given Covid restrictions. However, I received a phone call a week ago to say that they had one in stock and it was delivered today! It was installed by two very friendly and helpful young men who made sure it was working properly and also took away the old machine. So one very happy lady. Would 100% recommend Beacon and will definitely use them again - thank you so much and Happy Christmas to you all!Tuesday 22nd December 2020
Mo Baker5 StarWow! What a great team, needed a cooker for my place. Didn't expect service that went above and beyond, but that's exactly what i received from Mark B and Ben. Nothing was too much trouble. Via phone, and emails, even when i was 5,000 miles away, they took care of my install, following through with emails, and confirmation that everything had gone according to plan, just as they promised it would. I can't recommend these guys enough!

The staff are helpful, friendly and never rushed but give as much time as you need to make a choice and they know their stuff.I have recently purchased a cooker, fridge freezer and cooker extractor and had my old appliances removed and cannot rate them highly enough. I like to support local business but more than this if something goes wrong I can pick up the phone and talk to a real person or go into the shop.
