Autoworks Service Centre is a small, family-run, independent garage. We’re big enough to carry out every kind of service, repair, and maintenance, but small enough to care.
We treat all the vehicles we work on as if they were our own. Established over 20 years ago, we serve customers in King's Norton and surrounding areas. We have become respected and relied upon to provide exceptional customer service and the highest standards of workmanship.

sharron garratt5 StarIt’s a family run business (Andy & Stacy) a business with standards, integrity & transparency and you will fall in love with them the moment you meet them .. They care about you as well as your car … I’ve never trusted anyone as much as I trust them in 30 yrs of driving .. I will NEVER take my car anywhere else. They also send you a video to support their recommendations. I recently had a quote of £3k from Woodside Motor Services (Rugby) for my car to pass an M.O.T .. something wasn’t right so took it to Auto Works, it passed with flying colours except for a break (bulb) light and they threw that in free of charge … genuine people who care about you … I have had subsequent work here all at competitive prices .. but the biggest thing that we all need is trust … If you haven’t got that with your current mechanic then I couldn’t urge you enough .. Anurag Girdhar1 StarI went to this service centre as recommended by whocanfixmycar. Due to a fault in electricals, front DRL was not working. Initial quote given for diagnostics was 10 pounds. They said they need to keep the car for a few hours to look deeply into the problem. I got my car back in the afternoon, I was told problem is fixed and they charged 72 pounds. But when I checked it, DRL was still not working and when I showed it to them, they said it had been working inside the garage few minutes ago. They still didn't know what the problem was.
So I got charged 72 against a quote of 10. The problem didn't get fixed and not even diagnosed. They didn't offer any money refund which they charged for fixing the issue!
Addendum after their response- The 72 pounds charge was never agreed upon. We were just told to leave our car. There was no mention of how much they will charge. Now they are saying 72 was for diagnostics and there is still no diagnosis!
I would've expected them to make sure the problem is sorted before telling us the same and charging money. Because after paying the fee, we see that the problem was still persisting. My suggestion to other consumers will be to make sure the claims are correct before making payments.Monday 18th October 2021
