Although they weren't my preference due to some of the negative Google reviews, I had to use this garage as I needed my MOT being completed urgently and they were able to offer me with a slot on the same day. They initially quoted me for repairs for £480, which I accepted. They explained they would be able to give me a more precise quote once they would have had a look at the brakes, which I understood. An hour later, they called me back to quote me £200 more, which would have been ok if explained clearly however the way in which I was spoken to was extremely unprofessional, rude, and undermining. Rather than starting by explaining what was wrong with my brakes, they said "we didn't get the full story on this now, did we?" in a rather accusatory way. When I said I didn't understand what they were referring to, I was told "well, someone clearly had a go at the brakes", as if I was responsible for this issue. I was then asked how long I had had the car for, to which I responded "2 years", only to be told "well, this couldn't have passed its MOT last year". I was so dumbfounded and shocked at the way I was spoken to that I could only respond "well, it did", and then had to pass the phone to my partner so he could speak with them. I can't help but feel that if I'd been a man, maybe they would have treated me with more respect. When I take my car to a mechanic, I am paying for a service, I expect them to tell me what is wrong with my car and to fix the issue; not to take my money and on top of it, make me feel responsible for why it is so expensive. Although they completed the repairs (at a very expensive price; I think we would probably have saved £100-200 by going to another mechanic, but unfortunately we didn't have the time to shop around), I cannot recommend this garage due to the way they treated me as a customer. I have felt insulted and taken advantage of.

ABC are the go-to garage in Cheltenham. Steve and his team are incredibly helpful, honest and trustworthy. Their workmanship is second to none. Highly recommend.

Went in after my exhaust began falling off, was fixed the next day and back to me for a very good price with an itemised bill. They went above and beyond, even doing a bit of additional work free of charge to make sure I felt confident driving it. Excellent service and very friendly staff, no complaints!

Took my car in for a full service. It came back with more faults than it went in with. Beware the fact that quote everything excluding VAT and then there is a tiny sign in the office explaining that. You will pay over the odds here, the customer service is poor and the quality of the mechanics are highly questionable. Avoid. It looks to me like there are a lot of fake reviews on here, just scroll down further. That being said the tyre fitting service which is a separate service was always fine.
